In Touch: February
19th February 2021
Love is in the air in February’s In Touch newsletter, where we share the wonderful story of how two of our staff, supported by volunteers (including a fireman!), brought much happiness to many of our residents over Valentines weekend with roses and themed gift boxes which they bought themselves just to “give something back”.
Residents living in Huntley House our extra care centre and those in our care homes were also treated to some Valentines themed fun – with residents in the Eliza Palmer Hub delighted to receive beautiful handmade cards from children of keyworkers at Notre Dame school, to show they were thinking of them.
A huge thank you to all our amazing staff, supporters and volunteers – your efforts make all the difference to the lives of those living at Whiteley!
We also feature the results from our recent Residents’ Survey focussing on how we’ve performed so far during the pandemic. It shows the majority of residents feel safe, well supported and informed. This is great news but we know there are always things we can do differently or better and so we’ll be using this vital feedback to help inform our plans for 2021. Read this month’s In Touch here
