THE ONLINE ENTRY SYSTEM IS NOW LIVE
2017 sees the return of the Whiteley Village Races in conjunction with celebrating the 100 year anniversary of the first resident moving in.
Set in the beautiful and tranquil 230 acre grounds of the Whiteley Village in Surrey, The Whiteley Village Races offer events for all of the family.
On offer are the choice of a 2.5km, 5km or 10km Off-Road Running event with chip timing, and a 1km Junior Fun Run, Junior Scoot/Bike/Run event and a 5km Sponsored Walk. In addition, there is the 5km Alms Obstacle Challenge, an off-road route broken up by 7 or 8 challenging obstacles. Enter as an individual, or in teams of 2 or 4. To avoid congestion on the obstacles, competitors will be set off at timed intervals. Why not do the Obstacle Race in Fancy Dress?
Where? Whiteley Village, Hersham, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 4EH
There will be free parking for all. Please follow the yellow event markers to the car park when you arrive at the venue.
The nearest Train Station is Walton on Thames, approximately a 2 mile walk away. Please note that the 546 Bus to the village DOES NOT run on Sundays!
- 2.5km Off-Road Race – £10 (£12 on the day)
- 5km Off-Road Race – £12 (£15 on the day)
- 10km Off-Road Race – £20 (£25 on the day)
- 5km Obstacle Challenge – £16 per person (£20 on the day)
- 5km Whiteley Walk – £7 per person (£10 on the day)
- Fun run, 1km for under 14s – £6 (£8 on the day), medals for all.
- Scoot/Bike/Run, Multi-Disciplined Event for the under 14s £9 (£12 on the day). Requires a Scooter, Bike and helmet.
Online entry will close at 11pm on the Friday before the event. Entry on the day will be possible, subject to capacity limits – please check website for information.

Prize Giving – approx 11:30am – All competitors can then receive their medals.
Support Whiteley Village by planning to have a bite to eat after your event. There will be refreshments available to purchase at the finish for after your run.
There will be prizes awarded to the first 3 Male and Female finishers in the 2.5km, 5km & 10km Races. There will also be a prize for the highest amount of sponsorship raised for the 5km sponsored walk. During the prize giving there will be a couple of fabulous ‘on the spot’ prizes and will be chosen at random from all 2017 participants.
Please remember to bring some extra change to enter the Whiteley Races Raffle for a chance to win some fantastic prizes! The raffle will be drawn at the closing of the event.
There will be a water station, first aid, toilets, free car parking, refreshments, and a place to drop your bag in a nearby hall.

Live Music, Cream Teas and BBQ, Flower Festival, Bouncy Castle, Raffle with cash prizes and over 80 stalls.

The fourth Whiteley Village Charity Golf Day will be played on the “New Course” at Burhill Golf Club
You are invited to either enter a team or as an individual. The format of the day is a shotgun start at 9am, each team will compromise of 4 players.
It will be a Stableford format with stroke allowance.
The cost of entering a team is £500* or £125pp* for an individual and this will include:
Tea, Coffee and bacon roll on arrival
Driving Range Token for 25 balls
18 holes of golf
Drinks and nourishment on the 9th hole
2 Course lunch in a private dining suite
Hole in One – Win an Audi car
* Members of Burhill Golf Club please deduct £40.00 per person
How to Enter
- Firstly, and most importantly, to book your place, please email the Events Coordinator with your intention to enter a Team**
- Then complete and return the 2017 Booking Form when you have the names of your team members and their handicaps
** NOTE: We will arrange for any individual entries to be allocated to a team
