If you do feel able to include the Whiteley Village Appeal in your giving, you will be helping us to improve the many beautiful and listed buildings that so urgently need to be modernised to provide acceptable accommodation for the elderly poor who seek to enjoy their final years with dignity and their independence intact. You will be helping many poor and needy people in the years to come.

Your will is the only guarantee that your wishes will be carried out according to your wishes after you have passed away. Making a will is easy and relatively inexpensive. The easiest way is to use a solicitor.
We give here the suggested wording that your solicitor can use if you wish to include a legacy gift to the Whiteley Village Appeal.
For a share of your estate:
I give all/a share of (please state proportion) of the residue of my estate absolutely to the Whiteley Village Appeal, Whiteley Village, Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 4EH. Registered Charity Number 1103056, to be applied by the trustees of the Whiteley Homes Trust for its charitable purposes, and I further direct that the receipt of the Warden or any other proper officer of the Whiteley Homes Trust for the time being shall be sufficient discharge to my executors.
For a specific sum:
I give to the Whiteley Village Appeal of Walton on Thames, Surrey, KT12 4EH Registered Charity Number 1103056,absolutely, the sum (amount in figures and in words) to be applied by the trustees of the Whiteley Homes Trust for its charitable purposes and I further direct that the receipt of the Warden or any other officer of the Whiteley Homes Trust for the time being shall be sufficient discharge to my executors.
