Facilities
Whiteley Village is private and the site is not open to the public. Its facilities are primarily for the free use of villagers, but they are sometimes made available to outside organisations and to private individuals.
Sports Fields
Our football, cricket, and rugby pitches are normally booked on a long-term basis by local sports clubs, but are a source of interest to villagers (normally as spectators!).
Woodlands
Organisations such as the Girl Guides and local rambling groups may be permitted to use the woodland areas. Enquiries should be made to the Estates Manager.
Fishing Lake
A small number of licenses are available for outside members. Enquiries should be made to the Estates Manager.
Village Hall
This may be hired for private or corporate functions. It can accommodate up to one hundred and eighty guests, has a full size stage, and offers a fully licensed bar. Our on-site catering company is able to offer a wide range of menu options. Enquiries may be made through the Leisure Centre Manager or through our main reception.
Conservatory
A smaller area, suitable for up to about fifty guests. It is ideal for training events, meetings or a birthday party for a pre-school child. Enquiries may be made through the Leisure Centre Manager or through our main reception.
Therapy Pool
The therapy pool is currently used most afternoons by ‘baby swim’ organisations. We are not currently taking any additional bookings from similar groups. Requests for access by organisations seeking to use it for therapeutic purposes with older people will be considered.
Arts & Education Centre
A new Arts and Education Centre opened in the Spring of 2009. This will offer class room / meeting room type facilities, a workshop area and kitchen facilities. As with other locations, your catering needs can also be met. Enquiries may be made through the Cottages Manager.
Guest House
A functional and sensibly priced guest-house is available to those that have business in the Village. Bookings may be made through our main reception.
