Welcome to our new Volunteer Coordinator Sue Lewin

Like many people who become Volunteer Coordinators I slipped into the process sideways:

Whiteley Village springs into action to keep residents hydrated after broken valve in St. George’s Hill affects water supply

Whiteley Village has sprung into action to help supply water to its residents after a broken valve in the St. George’s area has affected water supply to the Village and surrounding areas. The problem was reported by Affinity Water late last night and staff at The Whiteley Homes Trust have worked through the night to organise the delivery of bottles of water to supply to all its residents.

Chandra McGowan Chief Executive at Whiteley Village says “The Whiteley Homes Trust recognises the importance of keeping all our residents and staff hydrated during the recent spell of hot weather. This is a problem that stems from outside the Village and is out of our control. Nevertheless we are doing everything we can to ensure everyone in the Village has all the water they need and I urge any resident who is need of more water to get in touch with the Office.”
